1. No advertising or analytics cookies
The current SaveProof application does not set advertising, cross-site tracking, personalization, or analytics cookies. It uses two first-party cookies when you choose Google sign-in and a separate language cookie when you choose an interface language. These cookies support sign-in, security, and your language choice. SaveProof does not set the language cookie merely because of your browser's language setting.
The session cookie may persist for up to 30 days. SaveProof will add a consent choice before introducing any optional cookie or browser storage where applicable law requires one.
2. Cookies
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
saveproof_google_transaction | Protects the Google sign-in redirect with encrypted, one-time state. | Up to 10 minutes |
saveproof_session | Keeps you signed in and authorizes account and owner controls. The cookie is HTTP-only and its token is stored on the server only as a cryptographic hash. | Up to 30 days, or until sign-out |
saveproof_locale | Remembers the interface language you choose in this browser. The cookie contains only en or ru and is HTTP-only. If you are signed in, your account language setting takes priority. | Up to 365 days, or until you clear site data |
3. Browser storage
| Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session storage | Keeps the optional text draft for the current browser tab session and remembers whether the Russian-language suggestion has appeared in that session. Selected files are not persisted. | Until the tab session ends; the draft may be cleared earlier |
| Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or dismissed the optional installed-app prompt so it is not repeatedly shown. It also stores only en or ru as the installed offline reader's language, so the reader can use your choice without a network connection. | Until you clear site data |
| Cache storage | Keeps versioned application and offline-reader files needed for the installed web app. It does not intentionally cache your document content. | Until replaced by a newer version, uninstalled, or cleared |
| Temporary device storage | May stage encrypted or decrypted bytes during large local Protected Package operations. SaveProof attempts cleanup after the operation and on reader startup. | For the local operation and cleanup period |
4. Your controls
You can use the browser's site-data controls to delete SaveProof cookies, local storage, and caches. Deleting the session cookie signs you out. Deleting the language cookie removes this browser's saved choice, but an account language setting can restore it when you sign in. Clearing an in-progress text draft or temporary package data may make that local work unavailable. Browser and operating-system cleanup behavior is outside SaveProof's control.
5. Changes
If SaveProof later adds non-essential analytics, advertising, or other optional storage, this notice and the application must be updated before that technology is enabled. Consent controls will be added where applicable law requires them.
